Rexall United Drug HAIR TONIC bottle.
Bottle comes in a figural Drug Shape with a “
    WINGED STAFF

    AMA (AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
) used / uses.   So sum it up, it is a
    1) beautiful GREEN color
    , it is
    2) shaped like a DRUM
    , it has a
    3)
great looking embossed PICTURE on it, the AMA logo
and lastly, but not leastly, it is a very early hand

    ”    All of t
his is embossed in a circle around a chain and a “
    WINGED STAFF
” logo Trade Mark, a winged staff w/ two snakes coiled around it.
    Condition
:   Bottle is in PRISTINE nice clean condition.  It does have scattered cloudy mostly-interior stain.  It also has a scratch on back edge of label panel that if you study hard with a magnifying glass, the scratch goes deep enough to of caused damage to the glass in the form of a subsurface crack.  I don’t like using that word (crack) as it carries such a weighty verdict on the bottle and this isn’t a standard crack that goes all the way through the bottle, but in trying to describe it accurately, it is more than just a scratch.  Anyway and otherwise, bottle has NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.
    Age
    : A hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca.
    early 1900.

insurance. We have enjoyed shipping our items all over the world and are happy to offer most of our items to international buyers. Yet insuring International parcels is very expensive so PLEASE NOTE; we do
    NOT
insure International orders unless winning buyer specifically requests this and we are able to provide an insurance quote. We do not falsify information on the Customs Form, such as a price other than what the actual purchase price is, so please do not request us to do so. We ship several times a week and send payment acknowledgments and shipping confirmations. Your prompt payment will assure a very quick turn-around time.
    IMPORTANT NOTE:
If our shipping charge is much more than the actual shipping cost, we will refund the excess so what
    YOU
pay for shipping/insurance is very close to, if not exactly, the
    ACTUAL
shipping costs! This is especially important for foreign buyers to know as most of our foreign shipping charges are rough estimates.
A great antique shampoo bottle that is a STRONG 100 YEARS + old, over A CENTURY OLD.    We have seen this bottle with a full label and in the original box and it was a fancy shampoo bottle.  It originally came with a very colorful label within the oval panel, and it was topped with a fancy stopper.   One thing I do remember about it is, on the side of the box it mentioned that the shampoo was used to ‘eliminate and prevent local scalp and hair affections’.   I think they meant to say hair ‘afflictions’; but hair affections???   One of the reasons that collecting these old things is so fun.  This is as fine of an old bottle that we’ve ever seen,
    check it out!
