this product is very easy to handle and use. one pull of the handle and you get a perfect 90 degree bend. once mounted on a 2×8 board it stays uprite and ready to bend rebar quickly and easily. Great for big constrution sites or your backyard project.

Does the job

The tool was just used for a job that had almost 6000′ of grade 60 #4 rebar. The tool worked well and the cutting blades show real no wear. Cutting and bending #4 does take effort and at the end of the day you will be tired but for the cost this is a great tool that gets the job done without any problems.

Good product for ICF’s building…

I bought one of these for a construction project using ICF’s. I found it very helpful and strong enough to handle the job. I bent mainly 1/2” rod and it worked without effort, but you better be prepared and eat a full breakfast if you plan on bending 5/8” rod for a whole day. Although it did handle the 5/8” rod without problems (75 cuts and 150 bends), it is mainly made to bend and cut 1/2” rod. I would recommend an hydraulic press for extensive bending of anything bigger than 1/2”. But pricewise, you can not beat this bender for small jobs. I liked it very much and it is now a new addition to my tool box.
